Cyber-physical pilot system to study CIP dosing and cleaning effect.
Modular injection and blending equipment applies appropriate mixtures of chemicals, additives or enzymes into any section of a membrane filtration system. While most of the existing CIP dosing systems have only one dosing pump, our cyberphysical approach uses a network of injectors, which dose fresh formulations into specific sections of the membrane system. This allows to compose more effective combinations / mixtures on-site which meet actual requirements better than predefined procedures.
One of the main difficulties in formulating membrane cleaners is ensuring the stability of formulations. Many useful mixtures can't be obtained from suppliers, due to the limited stability. With only a few basic chemicals and additives, our analyzing, blending and injection units manage thousands of different formulations which are mixed locally.
A graphic interface shows the status of the cleaning process. The operator can easily interpret the status and modify parameters.
