Multichannel Ceramic Membrane Elements

Ceramic microfiltration and ultrafiltration elements offer improved chemical and thermal resistance and a longer service life compared to polymers. The porous membranes are made of ceramic materials such as aluminum oxide (Al2O3), zirconium oxide (ZrO2), silicon carbide (SiC), titanium dioxide (TiO2), etc. These materials are used to produce membranes in various shapes such as tubes, plates, discs or multi-channel elements.

Compatible with all ⌀ 25 mm ceramic elements across all suppliers

The laboratory system is compatible with multi-channel elements from all manufacturers, diameter 25 mm, length 500, 600, 1200 mm. Channel diameter: 1.5...6 mm. We offer an extensive selection of these elements for applications in microfiltration and ultrafiltration. A → design guide supports you in the selection of elements.

Inline, Atline

With the concept of inline-measurement, sensors are installed in the pipes. In the atline circuit, the permeate flow is forwarded to an external laboratory device (analyzer).

In inline analysis, the sensor is positioned either in a process tank or on the pipeline. The measuring system is an integral part of the filtration system. In at-line analysis, the sample volume is transported to the measuring device near the filtration system. The measuring system is located outside the filtration system. The sample is not returned to the process.

The software has a modern and user-friendly layout. With the software, users can reduce analysis time and determine time-based correlations via batch and continuous processes. In addition, measurement methods and controls can be optimized. The intuitive open-source software can be further developed by the operator without licenses in order to adapt to changing issues and requirements.

The control software allows flexible and user-friendly control of TFF processes and offers the following main functions:
  • P&ID-based user interface with dynamic flow path
  • Control of permeate and retentate flow rate
  • Control of pressure, Pressure loss (ΔP), Transmembrane pressure (TMP), Backwash pressure, a.o.
  • Control of temperature
  • Control of various secondary process parameters such as VCF (volume concentration factor)
  • Control of diafiltration (batch and continuous)
  • Saving the process data, export in .CSV format
